Okay so the gist, they are visiting Getzhistan (which is how I’m going to spell it until shown otherwise). I’m sure that there’s a pun in this name that I’m not seeing that would offend me if I could see it, but if I remember correctly the sultan is gonna do that for me.
We don’t know why they’re going yet, but Iago is excited. This is basically the Las Vegas of the Seven Deserts. Parties, gambling, glitzy locales. That sort of thing. Iago is excited. “Club Nest Egg” will be his goal destination, and he has a “system” for gambling.
Which involves getting Genie to help him cheat, of course. Genie states he doesn’t know why Iago needs loaded dice and trick cards and x-ray specs, but I honestly don’t know if he’s that clueless or if he’s just announcing his ignorance as a passive-aggressive way to tell Aladdin what their avian friend is up to.
Aladdin and Abu pretend to be offended.
