Production Code Episode 70 – The Citadel

Screw it. Doing Mozenrath’s first episode. God knows I talk about him often enough in the other liveblogs.

And do you see that number? Do you see it? 70th episode written. Out of just over 100 99 episodes. That’s how long we would have been waiting if they hadn’t mixed up the episode order. In the official airing order this episode was in the 30s, not the 70s.

(And once again I call in to question shipping him with Sadira. As of this episode in the production code list, her final episode aired nine episodes ago. All of the Mozenrath stuff happens in the series after she clashes with the Witches of the Sand, and Sadira disappears from the series altogether until Aladdin and Jasmine’s wedding.)

Production Code Episode #15: Getting the Bugs Out

The first Mechanicles episode. I did not like this character very much when I was younger – I kind of had to be in the mood for him. My mind has changed some partially because as an adult I find his snobbery and antics way more funny but also because one of my roommates got me to give him another chance. (And I think that Disney made a huge mistake not featuring this character in a Hercules crossover.)

Oh, and alternate title: “Aladdin Deserves Every Bad Thing That Happens To Him: The Sequel.”

Production Code Episode 46 – Garden of Evil

And with this I’d like to kick off a semi-regular event on the blog known as One-Off Wednesday. Once things are less hectic and my job stops kicking my ass I intend to do a few episodes per week, but on Wednesdays I’d like to focus specifically on episodes of Aladdin that feature a character that only appears once. 

And this is, by far, one of the best one-off episodes in the series.
